Moda Bolivia USA began as a pilot project to get Latin American and uprising fashion designers to show their artistic talent in the Metropolitan Area of Washington, DC. Rosita Hurtado as the co-founder of this project is he and enhance support the Hispanic population with related issues of importance to the community.  MODA BOLIVIA USA began with a charitable event for children of Bolivia, South America.

  

In 2011 it became a company,renowed Bolivian designer Rosita Hurtado was MODA BOLIVIA USA's "Special Guest" and Geraldine La Rosa from Argentina showed her blue jean designs as the top uprising designer at the time. 

 

The show was held at WESTWOOD Country Club and close to 400 guests viewed a spectacular array of artistry with Mrs. Hurtado's gala gowns and Ms. De La Rosa casual clothing.  Local Press and many photojournalists were on hand to presence the origionality and the sucess of these two designers.

 

Today, MODA BOLIVIA USA has become the host to designers from other parts of Latin America and bringing fashion from around the world. Moda Bolivia USA also offering its different services to young ladies and uprising stars of the fashion world.  This 2014, MODA BOLIVIA USA will feature designers from El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Argentina and the show will be denominated "FASHION OF THE AMERICAS: FIGHTING DIABETES".
